The goal was to create mystery and use something that wasn’t prescribed to function as headwear, and make it beautiful. In this case, curb chain and lock cutters were used along with screws to mount it to pieces. They were cut to align with the face enough to cover it but not to pass the edge and hang loose. The goal was gravity to see like it’s taking effect on a face lying flat. 

This work is large and challenging. Each chain along the bottom is attached to its own piece. The sections of chain above are simultaneously attached to multiple pieces and will be shipped with those pieces attached to the chain, and likely inserted last upon completing the puzzle. Something we’ve never seen before out there in the world, and we hope you like it.
